Plus Size Fashion Trend Report Berlin Juli 2015
In their second season, Studio Untold have not only designed another exciting plus size collection in which they implement current trends and cuts. They also selected five great Plus Size Blogger girls, who each created an outfit for the Plus Size Blogger Capsule Collection with great attention to detail and their very own style. The collection launch took place at the Curvy fair in Berlin and was accompanied by press hype and enthusiastic visitors.
You can find out more about this in our article "Curvy is Sexy". We are excited about the 5 looks that will be available from September 2015. The participating plus size bloggers are Cécile from Theodora Flipper, Verena from TheSkinnyandtheCurvyone, Lisa from LisaMosh, Steffi from Dressitcurvy and Ela from CONQUORE The Fatshion Café. If you want to know more about the cooperation and blogger life, you can watch the great report on ZDF about Ela and Steffi here.
Zizzi Black Label Spring-Summer 2016
Nordic, clean and simply stunningly cool!
Zizzi's second line called "Zizzi Black Label" simply blew us away with its skilful minimalism. With its current design and absolute statement pieces, the collection pierces the heart of the fashionista! The color palette ranges from pastel powder tones to clear, cool black mixed with metallic highlights. We are particularly fond of the silk dresses and tunics with kimono-like cuts. Needless to say, the cocon cut silver coat is imaginatively integrated into the wardrobe as well ;-)
Persona by Marina Rinaldi Fall-Winter 2015
Unfortunately, Persona by Marina Rinaldi was not represented at the Curvy this season, but since the AW15 collection was already one of our favorites in January, we definitely want to share it with you here! Persona is design for women with curves who value quality and an urban style. The autumn-winter 2015 collection celebrates the POP-ART look of the 1960s with bright prints. The cuts are modern and impress with their great fit. We love the fresh, urban designer look and think these styles are absolute must-haves!
Sallie Sahne Spring-Summer 2016
Eva Lutz's Plus Size line Sallie Sahne designs exclusive collections with high standards of design and choice of materials. The summer collection impresses with a clean look, great lines, a perfect fit and a muted color palette. Particular attention is paid to the pants, which are unique in their fit. The design is modern and up-to-date, but timeless and the parts are durable. True favorite part - potential! We were able to discover some great highlights at the Curvy fair in Berlin, our favorite of the collection is this fantastically flowing jumpsuit with a striped print!
Elena Miro
Another highlight of Curvy was Elena Miro's spring-summer 16 collection. The Italian brand from Italy has been known since the 80s for sophisticated fashion that is inspired by the feminine curves of the Mediterranean woman. Now they have also presented a more modern collection that, with sophisticated cuts and first-class materials, is aimed at younger women who want to emphasize their figure. Wonderfully sensual!
